Hi Victoria and Family I'm Terri's sister and just wanted to thank you for contacting her. She has been keeping us updated with every bit of news that she got from the registry about you and how you were doing during each step they let her know about. You truly have been thought of and prayed for by a great number of people that never met you. It is so nice to put a face and name to who was the recipient. I am so thankful you did contact her so she knows from you personally that everything went very well - it meant more than a lot to her to get those emails and talk with you. Yours and Terri's journey has inspired us all - after we found out she was a match for a 12 year old girl somewhere in the US my husband and I went to do the swabs to enter the donor registry during different registry drives here in Virginia. We also encouraged friends to enter it as well. The two of you being a match will hopefully end up helping a few more people. Very proud of you all!
