Victoria: Hi! This is your 7th grade science teacher. I have heard so much about you. Kaie Pemberton is in my class, and she talks about you quite a bit. I hope that everything goes well and we get to see you soon. We just finished doing a Diet Coke and Mentos lab. It was very neat. The Diet Coke and 10 mint Mentoes erupted 2.1 meters in the air. Mythbusters had a segment on this, so we decided to try it out and use different types of candy or soft drink. The new strawberry Mentoes was the best for this lab. The soft drink erupted 4.5 meters in the air. We can't wait to have you in class. I hope you have a good sense of humor. I'm a little crazy, so they say. We will continue thinking about you.
